Couple Pics

Image
Just a couple of good pics I decided to share! Early morning at Youth Retreat A beautiful tree to brighten up the rainy lunch break at the poultry farm! The setting of this pic is interesting. We were going to go fishing at a friend's lake, but when we got the whole pier was covered because of the recent rain. My brothers still wanted to fish and it was easier because the had pants. For us girls though, that was another story. Trying to hold up our dresses and a fishing pole is kinda hard. Ever tried it? :) By the end we just let our dressed drop, as you can see in the pic:) I had my camera along and then I just told her to fling up some droplets! So there you go that is how the pic developed! :) From the lilac bush at my latter piano teacher! Creek at Highland Retreat Some more scenery around our area Camping at Trout Pond The above and below are just some pretty sunrise pics out our back door!

My testimony

Image
My Testimony {Long awaited by some}          I accepted Christ early on at around age 5 or 6. About 2 to 3 years later I felt an urge, Bibleschool, to accept Christ, when invited by the teacher. When I had re-accepted Christ, (I guess you can say) I felt a lot closer to God and also felt that I understood better. Ever since I found the verse Joshua 1:9 it has been a favorite.                                                     "Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of                                             good courage, do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the                                              Lord your God is with thee withersoever thou goest."                                                                                                         It is something we should all remember.                  My commitment to Jesus is to praise and honor His name, and also s

Hey, glad to see you again!                                                     ➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼➼  Look at God's wonderful creation. {By the way I didn't make the viedo} He has  made the bird's of the air, and the fish of the sea. Th creeping creatures on land everything else you see. Trees, plants, flowers, and you know what else? Us, the wonderful creature us, that wonderful miracle. He has made every little cell, tissue, and ulcers in our body. Then after he made the fearfully and wonderfully made us he just had to do more. And you know what that was? He sent his son Jesus Christ to a sacrifice for our sins. He died upon the cross because of us. And now if we obey Him we will be go to that eternal house in heaven that Jesus is preparing. Have you accepted that gift? If you haven't why don't you?  Here is a song to tell you just an example and small part of Jesus' love. How deep the Father&

I looked out at the dreary day. Why oh why did it need to rain today, of all days? I had looked forward to going on the Club Bike Ride, but no it had to rain. I looked down at my fabric and tried to consentrate on my stitches. As I got the fifth stitch in I heard Lars come in whistling Amazing Grace. How could he be whistling, couldn't  he see, well I guess he wasn't planning anything special so it was understandable.                             Lars entered my room and sat down beside me. "What's up little sister?" he asked cheerfully. "There's not much going on at all today," I replied gruffly.  "Whew, sounds like you got out of the wrong side a bed, anything I can help with?"  "No, not unless you can make the rain go away and not come back until the bike ride is over!" I exclaimed. "Oh, he said quietly, That's what the problem is, huh?" "Well all I can say is maybe you

There is a long black train picking up the lost and cryin'.   This train has a whistle, oh, it sounds so good. But I must stay away. This train is driven by the devil, please watch where ya going brother. Don't hop on that train. It is there for me and you to lose our faith. But keep on,keep your good faith in God. Even though it might be a beauty. But we need to stay away. Let's pray. Dear Lord I ask you to keep us from boarding this train or even getting tempted to. Help others as they are also tempted. We trust in you and know you are control. We give it over to you. In Jesus' Name I pray Amen.

For the blessings of family. For the blessings of friends who love and care. but most of all I thank you so much for the love you show us by giving your only son. To save us from all sin! We love and praise you Lord! Amen

I really don’t know why I am writing this I think it is because of the overwhelming amount of younger and older kids in church today. I have always had a bond with children. I  love holding, cuddling, teaching, watching, helping extr. the babies. I hope you feel the same way. God has given some of us siblings and some of us none, but we thank him anyways. Me being the oldest of four children you would think I had a lot of experience but really I haven’t and if I did do a lot with my siblings I don’t remember much. {Being almost 6 years ago that my youngest sibling was born} I have only one sister 6 years younger than me too, so I think that might be a reason that  I enjoy children because I don’t have little siblings to cuddle, though I have to admit that they do let me cuddle a little bit. Anyways when you see a child crying but something tells you, “Well their mother will take care of that.” Where in the world did that come from?!! Ignore that conciense and move on. Pick u

Why, oh why are we afraid? I have always had problems with fear and anxiety, but have learned to cope and live with it. I was wanting to write something when the words ‘Faith like a Child’ kept running through my head. I finally decided to get it down on paper. The Bible says we need to have faith like a child. I can’t find where it is, if you know let me know! Anyways a couple places Jesus talks about faith are in the Gospel books when miracles and parables happen. Once when He and his diciples were on the sea of Galiee…… and there came a storm and they woke Jesus. He settled the waves and then turned to them and said, “Why are you so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” Again He approched the subject faith but in another view this time. He talks about it in the story about the woman washing Jesus’ feet with her hair and oil. Simon Peter gets after her, but Jesus said, “Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace.” There he was saying that we had faith or at least some o

Music. Ah! The pleasant melodies running through my head. Music is not to be higher than God and it can be easy to make it so. Music is a needed thing in my life. I have a passion and somewhat talent for music. Having a lesson in music, on two different instruments, in one hour is kind of stressful, but it doesn’t need to be. It also can be enjoyable. I remember wanting to play violin and my parents said,…… “No, not until after you have at least two years of piano. I was sorta disappointed but after I started I really like it and play piano pretty well now. After piano though I didn’t go to violin {even though I did try for a little it didn’t work out} I went to ukulele and mandolin and have throughly enjoyed it. I think music is important in everyone’s lives to praise and worship the Lord. It also seems to settle an inner joy and peace inside of you. And for one other thing music seems to do is put you on the positive, good side of things. Have you ever had a passion fo

I think this is interesting. I never remember reading this. In Luke 22:67-69 it is like Jesus is saying, ” Why would I tell you who I am when you are not going to belive in me.” Just like we say to a bully. But then. BUT THEN! He says,” The son of Man will sit on the right hand of God.” So there He is kinda postponing their question. When you go to his reply in verse 70 they ask Him again and he replies this time with, “YES, I AM.” What a amazing Jesus and Lord!

When some think of Easter they think bunnies and eggs. Now where in the world did that come from? Bunnies don’t even come out of eggs. I have been thinking about it and my cousin came up with the conclusion that Jesus came out of the tomb just like a  chick comes out of an egg. Now I don’t really believe that, but that was his idea. I don’t know where the bunnies come in   So if you have any ideas comment below. But before I stop writing I am going to type up a little of my thoughts on the resurrection and crucifixion chapters. So get out your Bible because I suggest that you read the verses and then check out the thought. {or it might not make sense} Luke 22:40 Notice that is says,…… ” ….that ye enter not into temptation.” I thought that was interesting in the fact that Jesus is kind of saying if you do not pray Satan will take that privlidge. I don’t know really what it means but that is what it tells me. Luke 22:42 I thought it was interesting that Jesus said deliver me

Another one of those Days!

Image
It’s one of those days. When you wonder where the sun is. Those rainy, dreary days. Today isn’t as bad as some. Like the ones with all-day dark skies and thunderstorms. Today you see dark clouds, but chasing them down is a slice, but mind only a slice of light. But the point of this paper is to change your mindset. If you wake up on a rainy day and are like a lot of us teenagers you would say, ” Aw, another rainy day I was planning to go on a bike ride!” At least that is what I would say. We all like sunny warm days and you know that.(: So we are going to change your mindset or at least suggest a way to if you have this problem. It took me awhile to do so, but I took a walk one rainy day and it changed everything. When I went on a walk or when  you  go on that walk take some time to notice the little things about a rainy day. The chirping of little birds, the drip, drip, drip of the rain, the soft silence, {other than creation} and other little things. I think

God has a way better looking river than the one below!!!!! God has a River of Life  Even if we can't see it, or hear it, or imagine it, it is there. For you and me so that we may be transformed into God's child and live in heaven the best home ever, someday. So let's thank the Lord that he is watching over us, taking care of and healing us. But also let us thank him for the River of Life!(:(;

God is always looking for opportunity to show himself strong. For example in Elijah’s case when he was seeing who was the true God, he was told by God to put more water on. You don’t know, but maybe he said “Go on Elijah, the more water the  better.” “I am going to hit it dead on!” Another example was when the three boys were thrown in the fiery furnace God was not saying, ” Hey, easy on the heat, easy on the heat!” He was saying, “Good these people might not know it, but they are giving me a chance to show myself strong!” Don’t leave God un-employed. He is looking over the world to find an area to show himself strong. The only people who will let Him show Himself strong are us Christians. But if we don’t give Him a opportunity God is stuck with all His power and glory and that must be frustrating! Hahahahahahahahahahahahah! This post is based on a sermon of Otto Koning. If you know him you will find the sermon on Cd 6. God enjoys the impossible. It is quite funny to liste

I have recently just been struck by the amazing love and care that God has for us. Think about it. God cared enough to give you parents. He loved you enough to give his Son. He cared enough to even make you. All your figures were fashioned by God and now he is fashioning your heart and he even cared enough to do that! Wow! God you are the most amazing God in all the world! I will always praise and worship you and NO ONE ELSE! Another thing that has hit me recently is we need to step out in faith. Trust God because he is in control. Believe him and know He is ready to be your personal Savior. When we become a follower we need to have faith and stand up for Christ. I know it might be hard but let’s encourage each other and stand up for Him. Let’s have the faith of a mustard seed Brothers and Sisters! Sorry about the pink backround that might just be normal or it is because I will be transferring these posts.

Just Me

Image
I would say I am just a normal. I don’t really know anything unless it is technology, sewing, designing, math, and spelling. Otherwise don’t ask me for anything else because I most likely will end up getting embarrassed. I have learned too through all the last years that it is just better to keep your mouth shut unless asked to talk. Which is hard, very hard for lots of us(: Well anyways I am just any ordinary girl. I like horses and western. I am a bookworm and love making up stories. My fave colors are purple, gray, and yellow.{you could stick a  turquoise in there} I play three different instruments and am free to more. If I am talking to a curious bunch then you might want to know what I play, my instruments are mandolin, ukulele, and piano. I started music around eight years old, I have played piano for almost 4 years. {I was taught for 2-and-a-half} I started playing mandolin and the ukulele the November of 2017. I love music and have a desire for it, and the plus is it
