God is always looking for opportunity to show himself strong.
For example in Elijah’s case when he was seeing who was the true God, he was told by God to put more water on. You don’t know, but maybe he said “Go on Elijah, the more water the better.” “I am going to hit it dead on!”
Another example was when the three boys were thrown in the fiery furnace God was not saying, ” Hey, easy on the heat, easy on the heat!” He was saying, “Good these people might not know it, but they are giving me a chance to show myself strong!”
Don’t leave God un-employed. He is looking over the world to find an area to show himself strong. The only people who will let Him show Himself strong are us Christians. But if we don’t give Him a opportunity God is stuck with all His power and glory and that must be frustrating!
