I think this is interesting. I never remember reading this. In Luke 22:67-69 it is like Jesus is saying, ” Why would I tell you who I am when you are not going to belive in me.” Just like we say to a bully.
But then. BUT THEN! He says,” The son of Man will sit on the right hand of God.” So there He is kinda postponing their question. When you go to his reply in verse 70 they ask Him again and he replies this time with, “YES, I AM.”
What a amazing Jesus and Lord!
